Our Mission

The Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD) has cut all funding for field trips in the upcoming budget. This means that children in the district will not be going on the curriculum-based field trips for which the school district has previously paid. Our group is launching a fundraiser beginning August 15, 2009. The goal is to raise approximately $70,000 that will be given to the ECASD for funding those field trips that would otherwise be eliminated this year. By achieving our goal, we will support local businesses, stimulate young minds and reinvest in the future of our community.

Fryszki's Country Gardens

Fryszki's Country Gardens (downtown Careyville) will dontae $1.00 from the sale of ever 6" or larger poinsettia sold during their Christmas open house on December 5. Hours are 9 AM - 6 PM. They will also be serving refreshments. Thank you Fryszki's!

Beginning November 27 when you purchase Nacho's Navidad a portion of your sale will benefit field trips. You may also make a donation of $1 and an ornament will be on display or if you choose to make a donation of more than $1 a school bus with your name on it will be displayed. Thank you Taco John's!
